About Us
Who We Are
Lead The Way Therapies came to life when Kristy Baranik, SLP + Candace Peterson, OT began to discuss their passion for their respective fields and owning a business that projects that passion.
A few words that were mentioned in initial conversations when discussing our clinic:
-
Respect: for families, children, and coworkers.
-
Safe: we want you to feel like you belong here. We want you & your child to feel safe with us.
-
Family-centered: your entire family is important to us when providing your child therapy services.
-
Child-led: our sessions are led by the child's interests, fun, and engaging. We will honor their communication at all times.
-
Neurodiversity: we believe in and support neurodiversity-affirming care and accept all neurotypes. We are continually working to learn from neurodivergent individuals.
-
Together: we know that together, Speech, OT, and PT can make a bigger impact. We also know the value of collaborating with other professionals and with the community.
Knowing that a team approach is the most powerful way to support families and children, we made our dream a reality. Respectful, thorough, high-quality care is something that is important to both Kristy and Candace--and from this came--Lead The Way Therapies.
What to expect in sessions:
Safe, fun, play
